It’s hopping time on Murphy’s Library. This week we took part in two major blog hoppers: Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday.
This week’s Book Blogger Hop, hosted by Crazy for Books, has this question:
What book-to-movie adaption have you most liked? Which have you disliked?
Guta: I’m with Maeva on this one. The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy was touching, loved it. And Percy Jackson was just wrong.
Maeva: I loved to watch The Lord of the Rings, and overall I think it was a great adaptation. Of course, I know the hardcore fans would say there’s a lot missing, but once I’m not one of them, I’m okay with that The adaptation I disliked was Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, I got out of the teather totally “WTF?”, they recreated half of the plot, and I’m impressed they’ve decided to go on on this project and make a second movie.
The question for this week Follow Friday is:
How many books do you read in a week? And in what format do you read them, or listen to them?
Guta: Actually I read 2 or 3 books a week, one ebook and two books. But there was a time when I read 5 books a week, it’s sad that life gets in the way.
Maeva: I used to read 3 or 4 books a week, but haven’t done this for a while now, RL’s been way too crazy. I’d say now I read an average of 2 books a week, and I read them on my Kindle or hard copies.
