It’s hopping time on Murphy’s Library. This week we took part in two major blog hoppers: Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday.
This week’s Book Blogger Hop, hosted by Crazy for Books, has this question:
What book-to-movie adaption have you most liked? Which have you disliked?
Guta: I’m with Maeva on this one. The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy was touching, loved it. And Percy Jackson was just wrong.
Maeva: I loved to watch The Lord of the Rings, and overall I think it was a great adaptation. Of course, I know the hardcore fans would say there’s a lot missing, but once I’m not one of them, I’m okay with that
The adaptation I disliked was Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, I got out of the teather totally “WTF?”, they recreated half of the plot, and I’m impressed they’ve decided to go on on this project and make a second movie.
This week the featured book blog on Follow Friday—hosted by Parajunkee—is Book Bliss. Visit it, follow it, it’s an amazing blog!
The question for this week Follow Friday is:
How many books do you read in a week? And in what format do you read them, or listen to them?
Guta: Actually I read 2 or 3 books a week, one ebook and two books. But there was a time when I read 5 books a week, it’s sad that life gets in the way.
Maeva: I used to read 3 or 4 books a week, but haven’t done this for a while now, RL’s been way too crazy. I’d say now I read an average of 2 books a week, and I read them on my Kindle or hard copies.
Leave a comment if you hop by and let us know what you think!

I loved The Lord of the Rings adaptation. I actually sat down and read all the books afterwards…and the movie wins in my opinion.
Twilight is the WORST movie ever…nuff said
I read about 5-7. I listen to audiobooks at work. So it depends on the length of those. Then I sit and read 3 or so hard copies a week. I really should read more e-books. I have so many waiting…
